There is a $500 opening order and re-order minimum. Although our order minimum is $500, please see the map below for recommended minimums based on location. Our warehouse is located in Louisville, Kentucky which is from where orders are shipped. Shipping rates are calculated based on transit distance (from Kentucky to your location) and the density of the shipment. Blue Ocean Traders will contact the customer for approval if the shipping cost exceeds 25% of the merchandise total.ANY ORDER CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING (VIA EMAIL ONLY). We must have a valid copy of a customer’s Resale Certificate on file; orders will not be processed until this has been received. When placing your order, please verify that the billing and shipping addresses are current and accurate and notify us immediately with any changes. Please list a valid phone number/s, fax number (if applicable) and email address when submitting your order.
Please let us know at the time when the order is placed if you have a requested ship date, or special shipping needs (see below):
· If a shipping date is requested please provide us with a start ship date and cancel date (preferably a window of 10 business days).

Average lead time to receive an order is 6-8 weeks. This can vary as our inventory is constantly turning over. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to request an ETA for your order and we will do our best to provide you with the most accurate estimation based on current information. Blue Ocean Traders will contact a customer for order processing approval if the lead time has exceeded 90 days (from the day the order was placed).
We do not extend terms. Orders will not be charged until the day before the order ships & cannot be packed or processed without payment information. Please fax/e-mail the Credit Card Authorization Form with your payment information (see our Forms & Resources page). We accept all major credit cards including Amex. You may also send a check or wire transfer. Please call or email for a freight quote so that you can include the cost of shipping with your payment, or you may also provide a credit card for the shipping portion.
Blue Ocean Traders will contact a customer up to three times to collect payment information so that the order can be processed (via phone, fax, or email). The fourth and final contact will notify the customer that their order will be automatically closed within 48 hours unless Blue Ocean Traders is contacted with payment information. If the order is closed, the goods will be released and a new order must be placed.
Blue Ocean Traders will ship backorders over $150 via UPS/Fedex (small package) if they can be sent by that method (per Blue Ocean Traders’ discretion). Some fragile, heavy, or bulky items cannot be sent via small package. If the backordered items must be sent via freight (packed on a pallet) we will ship once the merchandise total is $500 or above, or the customer may elect to add items to ship with the backorder to allow for a lower freight percentage. Blue Ocean Traders will combine items from existing open orders when shipping unless instructed otherwise.
Please note that antique and vintage items will vary somewhat in size, color, and style. Some cracking and wear and tear is typical of vintage items which is what we believe gives them their character and story. Please understand when you order our vintage items that it is the inherent nature of reclaimed products, older materials and certain furnishings to appear weathered, and to contain variations and imperfections with respect to size, color, and constitution.
